Iva started with Des Plaines Eye Care Center 2018 as front desk and later on became the practice lead optician and practice lead. She an Office Management Certification in Eye Care from PECAA ( in collaboration with University of Houston, College of Optometry). Her meticulous attention to detail and independent nature makes her ideal for our business office. Her duties are mostly insurance - related and clinic management and she love helping patients improve their eye health.

Prior to joining our team at Des Plaines Eye Care Center, she worked in the hospitality and retail industry and those experiences further help her develop her interpersonal skills. Iva is also fluent in Bulgarian.
